Tech Requirements
All machines entering the track will be required to pass a technical inspection.
This will be required only once per bike per event with the only exception being if you are
involved in a crash or are black flagged off of the track.
Things we will be inspecting:
1. Self closing throttle;
2. Operational front and rear brakes;
3. Operational kill switch;
4. All blinkers removed and any headlights and/or taillights taped up;
5. Front number plate (5” min) and side number plates (3” min);
6. All fluid retaining bolts/plugs and all banjo bolts plugs must be safety wired;
7. All hoses must be securely fastened;
8. Radiator cap safety wired;
9. Must have fluid containment catch bottle for all coolant, fuel, and crankcase vent lines;
10. NO ANTIFREEZE as coolant, only water or water with Water Wetter additive;
11. Tires must be in good working condition;
12. All bikes must have some sort of protection on the handle bars, front and rear axels, and footpegs. This is extrememly important for the continued goodwill and use of the karting facilities.
This is by no means an exhaustive list. Any items that the tech inspector feels should be
corrected must be taken care of before entering the track.
